1912-S GOLD $10 INDIAN
NGC MS65The 1912-S ten dollar Indian Head Eagle is a very difficult issue to obtain in high grade. This beautiful, historically significant gold coin emerges as one of the absolute rarest issues of the series. The date is difficult to obtain in all levels of Mint State. Most of those found in Mint State are at the lower grade range and Gem examples like this one are very rare. The obverse displays an image of an Indian chief adorning a traditional headdress and mintage year. The reverse features Bela Lyon Pratt's ''standing eagle'' motif, the face value, and ''In God We Trust''.
